Good Morning:
The greenback rallied overnight as disappointing economic data from Asia and Europe showed continued signs of a global economic slowdown.
Asian and European equities were higher. US futures are pointing towards a higher opening.
Gold: $902.20
Oil: $101.17
Gold traded below $900 for a brief time last night.
Today’s economic data at 10AM EST ISM manufacturing data for March: Expected 47.9 Prior: 48.3
(Any reading below 50 indicates a contraction in the US manufacturing sector).
Also:
Construction spending; expected to be down 1%
