German Industrial Production came out worse than expectation at -1.8% from the previously revised 0.1%. A slight drop to -0.5% was forecast.

The EUR softened up slightly across the board after this data.

Forex News: US Industrial Production rise more than expected

The IP came in at +0.2 versus expectation of 0.0%. The Capacity Utilization came in at 79.9 versus 79.8% expectation. The previous month was a revised dowwn to 0.4 fro 0.5 and Cap Utliazation went to 79.8 from 79.9. So overall largely as expected.

Forex Trading News: JPY Revised Industrial Production Released

The Revised Industrial Production came out worse than forecast at -2.2% from the previous -2.0%. This was expected for -2.0% once again. The Capacity Utilization comes in at -1.7% from the previous 2.2%.

The JPY did not move much after this data.

Forex Trading News: EUR French Industrial Production Released

The French Industrial Production came out at below expectations at -0.4% from the previous -2.6%. This was forecast for a rise to 0.5%.

This data drove the EUR near session lows and reversed all the gains made during the Asian session for the currency.

The German Industrial Production number comes out at 0.2% from the previous -2.4%. This was forecast for a rise to 0.8%.

The EUR was dragged down slightly after this data. The EUROZONE Interest Rate Decision is out later in the day at 7:45 AM EST.

The EUROZONE Industrial Production comes out -1.9% from the previous 0.9%. This data came out better than expected as -2.3% was forecast.

This data had little effect on the EUR across the board.

The Industrial Production number q/q comes out at -9.3% from the previous 6.8%. This was forecast for a drop to -5.1%. The y/y comes out at 4.3% from the previous 9.2%. This was forecast at 7.5%.

Not much change initally in any of the CHF pairs after this lower than forecast release.

As this number came out only slightly better than forecast, not much change in the JPY across the board.
