Forex News: Philly Fed Index falls sharply.

The Philadelphia Fed Index, the second of the regional indices, plunged to -37.5 from +3.8 last month. The expectation was -10.0. The component pieces are showing a quick and sharp decline in economic activity. The decline was the largest decline EVER. The data today should pressure the stock market and the Yen crosses, while supporting the dollar against the EURUSD and the GBPUSD. USDJPY suffers off the cross selling.
