&lt;p&gt;The net long term flows showed a higher gain than expectation.  This is the highest inflow in 5 months.  However, if including the short term securities such as Treasury bills there was a new outflow of 48.2 billlion.  So the number seems a bit mixed with a little for everyone.   &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The thing about this number is it is for March.  So it tells you the net flows that occurred back then.  With the moves we have been getting as a result of economic news in the US and abroad the news is old and should not have a measurable impact.&lt;/p&gt;
