feds bail out of Bear. Also there should be three themes :

• Why the fed didn’t see the crisis building sooner
• What exactly was in Bear’s book to cause such fear
•  A theoretical question may arise – as to the role of the lender of last resort and the supervisor of monetary policy and the conflict that may arise from those two charters
