Ford and Nissan sales better than expected. Chrysler not as good.

Ford and Nissan posted U.S. sales gains in December that beat analysts’ expectations.     Ford’s sales jumped 33% to 184,655, while Nissan’s sales rose 18% to 73,404. Chrysler meanwhile has reported a fall of  3.7% to 86,523.

The expectation is that total sales will come in at 11.0 million units.  This is up from 10.92 million last month.
