Bobbys Corner-Open Market-July 13.2009

Reports circulated in the marketplace that Lloyd’s Bank PLC may write down 13 Bil GBP for the first half of 2009.
This report added to the movement in all the GBP pairs.  The EUR/USD touched the 1.3990 range overnight-but has since settled into the 1.3950 range.

Asian equity markets were lower-Europe is higher-and US Futures are slightly lower this morning.

Oil is trading below $60/bar and Gold is in the $912/oz range.  Investors nervousness is centered by the concern that the global recovery will be slower than originally expected.
